Welcome to PoochPower
Award winning professional dog grooming service where quality and care go hand in paw!
Bournemouth based Poochpower is a friendly and compassionate dog grooming service covering the Bournemouth, Poole, Wimborne, Christchurch, Ringwood and Blandford areas.
Noeline Stevens has shared her life with all sorts of breeds from Dachshunds to Gordon Setters over the past 40 years. She provides a service which is fun for your dog and provides peace of mind for you.
A hobbiest groomer for over 20 years she qualified at Kingston Maurward College in 2006 and started her own business in the September of the same year. Noeline provides services such as bathing, trimming, clipping and handstripping.
Noeline finished studying for her City and Guilds advanced dog grooming certificate in June 2007 and is pleased to announce that she passed with Distinctions. The Advanced Dog Grooming Certificate is made up of three practical modules and the theory exam which covers anatomy, health and diseases, psychology, breed specific conformation and styles, breed and pet styling, health and safety, animal care and welfare, business studies, oh and lots more!
Furthering her knowledge and skills is extremely important to her and she attends seminars and workshops regularly to keep up to date with the latest equipment and techniques. She is also passionate about raising the professional image of Dog Grooming and is the South Coast Regional Representative of the British Dog Groomers Association. Noeline also taught Dog Grooming part time at Kingston Maurward College in Dorchester for two years but left there in June 2010 in order to devote more of her time to Poochpower.
Noeline likes to take her time getting to know your furry friend so that he or she can feel relaxed rather than anxious. She works with every dog at a pace that suits them, giving them that extra bit of tender loving care. She adores her own dogs and understands that your pups are precious...
